Dates on the itinerary, hotel, insurance, cover letter and form must agree
The visa officer at VFS Global Mumbai or VFS Global Pune reads your file as one document, not as five separate papers. If the round-trip dummy ticket in Nagpur shows a departure on 14 March and the hotel booking starts on 16 March, that gap is a question. Two nights unaccounted for is enough for a query letter.
Start with the form. Whatever date you type into the visa application form becomes the fixed point. The flight reservation must enter India on the return leg before the visa expiry date you have stated, the hotel must cover every night between those two flight dates, and the travel insurance must start on or before the departure date and end on or after the return date.
The cover letter is where most Nagpur files slip. Write the same dates in it that appear on the form. Not the dates you first thought of, not the dates your cousin suggested. Officers compare the cover letter against the itinerary line by line.
Some points worth keeping on a single sheet while you prepare:
- Departure date on the round-trip reservation equals the arrival date in Europe or the UK shown on the insurance policy.
- Hotel check-in cannot be later than the day the outbound flight lands. A 7 am landing and a 3 pm check-in is normal. A next-day check-in is not.
- Insurance cover must extend past the return flight date. Buy a policy that ends a day or two after you land back in Nagpur.
- Passport number and spelling of your name must match exactly across the form, reservation and insurance.
- If the trip is 12 days, the hotel, insurance and flight dates should all describe those 12 days. Three different counts across three papers invites a request for more documents.
Once paid, the reservation is issued exactly as entered. We do not change, revise or re-issue it afterwards, free or paid. So finish the date homework before you place the order, not after.
Order a dummy air ticket once your appointment date is confirmed.
What a round-trip dummy ticket in Nagpur is at the airline system level
A dummy ticket is a reservation, not a ticket. When you book a flight on any airline, the system first creates a Passenger Name Record and holds seats against it. That PNR carries your name, the route, the dates and a record locator, usually six characters. Only when money is paid to the airline does the system attach an e-ticket number, a thirteen-digit figure starting with the airline code, and only then can you board.
What we issue is the first half. A held PNR, both legs, no e-ticket number. The airline's own website will show the booking when you enter the record locator and surname under Manage Booking. The seats exist. The ticket does not. At the check-in counter it cannot be used to fly, because no ticket has been issued and no fare has been paid to the airline.
For a visa file this is exactly what is asked. VFS Global Mumbai and VFS Global Pune usually want proof of a reserved itinerary that they can verify, not a paid ticket. The officer wants to see that you have planned a return, not that you have already spent ₹40,000 on a fare before the visa is decided. A round-trip reservation shows the return leg, which one-way dummies cannot.
Two things a held PNR is not. It is not a fake PDF, because a fake PDF has no record in any airline system. And it is not a confirmed ticket, because no e-ticket number exists. It sits in between, and that middle position is what visa officers work with.

The Tuesday a Dharampeth family learnt why the return date matters
Snehal Deshpande, who lives near Dharampeth in Nagpur, had her parents' UK visitor visa appointment at VFS Global Pune on 8 November 2025. The file was ready three weeks early. Flights, hotel in Leicester, insurance, bank statements, sponsorship letter from her brother-in-law in Coventry. She had paid a local travel shop ₹3,200 for two one-way reservations to London and thought the return was not needed, because her parents would come back only after the visa was used. At the counter the officer scanned the itineraries and asked one question. When are they returning to Nagpur. Snehal had nothing. The officer marked the file for additional documents with a seven-day window. The VFS staff member was polite but clear: a visitor visa file without a return leg is treated as weak intent to come back. Snehal called us on WhatsApp that evening. She needed two round-trip reservations, NAG to Mumbai to London and back on 22 December 2025, issued the same night because her fresh appointment at VFS Pune was on 11 November. We took the order at 8.40 pm, ₹599 per passenger, and the email with the held PNRs was with her by 8.52 pm. Both legs, same flat price. Her parents submitted the additional documents on 11 November. The visas were stamped on 27 November. Snehal told us later that the ₹1,198 she paid worked out cheaper than the ₹3,200 she had wasted on the one-ways.All visa types for this city are on the dummy ticket Nagpur page.
The desk in Mangaluru that has been issuing since 2019
DummyTicketPrice is a small team based in Mangaluru, Karnataka. We started issuing flight reservations in 2019 for applicants who needed a verifiable itinerary for a visa file without buying a full fare. Since then we have issued more than 1.2 lakh reservations for Indian passport holders filing in Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi and smaller cities. What we do is straightforward. We hold seats inside airline reservation systems for the route and dates you give us, and we email the PNR with both legs confirmed for travel. We do not sell generator PDFs. We do not use template letters. Every reservation you order is created individually against real flights, and it shows on the airline's own website when the officer checks the record locator. The order form on this page carries a passport upload field, which auto-fills your name exactly as printed, so spelling errors are rare. Payment runs through Razorpay. Support runs over WhatsApp, usually within a few minutes during the day. The price is ₹599 per passenger, one way or round trip, adult or child, no separate consultation charge. One policy you must read before paying: once an order is placed, we do not change, revise, re-issue or correct anything, free or paid. The reservation is issued exactly as entered. Check every field, then pay.Four steps from your phone in Nagpur to a live round-trip PNR
- Fill the booking form on this page. Full name as printed on the passport, passport number, date of birth, both legs of the route and both dates. Upload the passport page and the name fields fill themselves. Read back every date before you move on.
- Pay ₹599 per passenger through Razorpay. Card, netbanking or UPI. One way and round trip cost the same. Two passengers on one booking is ₹1,198. There is no extra charge for a Nagpur pickup, because everything is delivered by email.
- Receive the reservation by email in about 10 minutes. The email carries the airline PNR, the flight numbers, the departure and return dates, and the record locator you can check on the airline website under Manage Booking. If the airline has stopped holding the seats, we refund in full, which is rare.
- Print and file it. Carry two copies to VFS Global Mumbai or VFS Global Pune, one for the submission set and one for your own folder. Keep the PNR open on your phone as a PDF in case the officer asks to see it live.
Order 1 to 3 days before the appointment. Holds usually stay live a few days and up to a maximum of about two weeks, decided by the airline, not by us. A reservation from three weeks ago may already be dropped by the airline, and an officer who cannot pull up the PNR is a problem you do not want.
Nagpur has no visa centre, so plan the Mumbai or Pune travel in advance
Nagpur does not host a visa application centre for the UK, Schengen, Canada or the US. The nearest VFS Global centres are in Mumbai and Pune. A few missions run appointment camps in Nagpur at intervals, but you cannot depend on one landing inside your window. Most applicants from Dharampeth, Sadar, Gokulpeth, Trimurti Nagar and Manish Nagar take one of two routes. The first is a flight from Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, NAG, into Mumbai, usually one hour, then a taxi to the VFS Global centre in Andheri East or Lower Parel. Return the same evening if the slot is in the morning. The second is the train, Vidarbha Express or Sewagram Express, an overnight run into CSMT, then local transport to the centre. Sitabuldi and Wardha Road travel agents book both. Carry these papers to the counter, in this order: appointment letter, passport, application form, flight reservation for both legs, hotel bookings, travel insurance, bank statements for the last six months, income tax returns, cover letter and photographs as specified by the mission. Photocopies are made at shops outside the VFS centre, usually ₹5 to ₹10 per sheet, but the queues can be long, so bring your copies from Nagpur. Reach the centre 30 minutes before the slot. Mobile phones are not allowed inside; the VFS centre has lockers or a shop outside for a small fee. After submission, keep the receipt with the tracking number safe. Courier back to Nagpur usually takes three to seven working days once the visa is stamped.Five reasons Nagpur applicants pick this desk over a local runner
1. The price does not move. ₹599 per passenger, one way or round trip, adult or child. Nagpur travel shops often start at ₹1,500 and add a ₹500 service charge on top. We do not add anything after the form is submitted.
2. Delivery in about 10 minutes. The email usually lands within ten minutes of payment, day or evening. That matters when your VFS Global Mumbai slot is in 36 hours and the travel shop is closed for the weekend.
3. Both legs on the same PNR. The round-trip reservation shows the return date, which is what the officer looks for in a visitor or study file. Local runners often email two separate one-way bookings from two airlines, and the return date then does not always line up.
4. Verifiable at the airline's own website. The record locator works on the airline's Manage Booking page. The officer pulls it up in front of you. A ₹200 PDF from a Telegram channel does not survive that check.
5. Since 2019, over 1.2 lakh reservations. The team is in Mangaluru, on WhatsApp through the day. No shop to visit, no cash advance, no waiting for an agent to open at 10 am.
Paid ticket, generator PDF and genuine dummy reservation side by side
| Point | Paid real ticket | Fake generator PDF | Genuine dummy reservation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cost | Full fare, often ₹40,000 to ₹1,20,000 for NAG to London return | ₹100 to ₹500 on Telegram or Instagram | ₹599 per passenger, one way or round trip |
| PNR | Real, with e-ticket number issued | Made-up code, no airline record | Real held PNR, no e-ticket number |
| Verification | Shows on airline site | Fails on airline site | Shows on airline site under Manage Booking |
| Refund risk | Heavy cancellation charges if the visa fails | Money gone, no reservation exists | No fare was paid to the airline, so nothing to refund |
| Embassy outcome | Accepted, but a paid ticket is not required | Usually refused or flagged for fraud | Usually accepted when the PNR is live on the appointment day |
| Boarding | Allowed, if visa and passport are in order | Not allowed | Not allowed, no e-ticket number exists |
The middle column is why files get rejected. A generator PDF looks like a ticket, prints like a ticket, and has no seat behind it. VFS Global Mumbai and VFS Global Pune staff check record locators on the airline website as a matter of routine. If the code returns nothing, the file is marked.
Four myths Nagpur applicants carry about round-trip dummy reservations
Myth one: a round-trip reservation costs more than a one-way. It does not. Our price is ₹599 per passenger whether the itinerary has one leg or two. The airline holds the seats either way; the work at our end is the same.
Myth two: the airline will cancel the reservation the moment the officer checks it. Checking a PNR does not cancel it. The airline drops a held reservation when the ticketing time limit passes, usually a few days and up to about two weeks. That is why you order close to the appointment, not three weeks ahead.
Myth three: a dummy ticket from a Nagpur travel agent is safer because the agent is local. Safe is not a function of distance. What matters is whether the record locator works on the airline website. Many local agents resell the same generator PDFs for ₹1,500. We issue against live airline systems for ₹599, with the PNR visible to you before you submit.
Myth four: the officer wants to see a paid ticket before granting the visa. For most visitor and study categories the officer wants proof of planned travel, which a held reservation provides. Only a few categories ask for a paid ticket, and missions usually state this on the checklist. If in doubt, read the checklist for your exact visa sub-category.
Myth five: we can adjust the dates later if plans change. We cannot. Once issued, the reservation stands as entered. No changes, no re-issues, no corrections, free or paid. A new date means a fresh paid order. Check the dates twice before paying.
What Nagpur applicants say about us
Schengen tourist visa for a Zurich trip, appointment at VFS Global Mumbai on a Friday. I needed a round trip, NAG to Mumbai to Zurich and back on 2 November. Ordered at 9.10 pm, PNR email by 9.21 pm. The officer at the counter opened the airline site and the booking showed. Visa came in eight days.
Canada visitor visa file for my mother. VFS Global Pune slot on 14 July. I paid ₹599 on a Tuesday morning and the reservation with both legs was in my inbox in about twelve minutes. The staff member said the itinerary was fine. Only issue was my mother's name spelling in the form, which I corrected before paying.
UK visitor visa for a family of three, VFS Global Mumbai slot on 26 November. Earlier an agent quoted ₹6,000 for three dummy tickets. Here it was ₹1,797 for all three, round trip, and the email landed in eleven minutes. The officer checked the PNRs and passed the file without a question.
Questions Nagpur applicants ask before ordering a round-trip dummy ticket
Is a round-trip dummy ticket in Nagpur accepted at VFS Global Mumbai or VFS Global Pune?
Usually yes, when the PNR is live on the appointment day and shows both legs. VFS staff typically check the record locator on the airline's own website. The reservation is a held booking, not a paid ticket, which is what most visitor and study checklists ask for. Read your specific mission checklist to confirm.
How much does a round-trip dummy ticket in Nagpur cost?
₹599 per passenger, one way or round trip, adult or child. There is no separate consultation charge. Two passengers travelling together on one file cost ₹1,198. Payment is through Razorpay using card, netbanking or UPI. The price does not change after you submit the form.
How fast is the reservation emailed after payment?
Usually within about 10 minutes. The email carries the airline PNR, flight numbers, both travel dates and the record locator. If you order late at night, the reservation still goes out the same night. If the airline has stopped holding the seats, we refund in full, which is rare.
Which airport code does the reservation show for Nagpur?
Flights from Nagpur use the airport code NAG, Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport. Most international itineraries from Nagpur connect through Mumbai, Delhi or Bengaluru before the long-haul leg. Give us the exact routing you want in the booking form, since we issue exactly as entered.
How long does the held PNR stay live?
The airline decides. Holds usually stay live from a few days up to a maximum of about two weeks. We cannot extend a hold once the airline drops it. Order 1 to 3 days before your VFS appointment so the officer sees a live reservation at the counter.
Can I change the dates after the reservation is issued?
No. Once an order is placed, we do not change, revise, re-issue or correct anything, free or paid. The reservation is issued exactly as entered. If your plans change, you place a fresh paid order. Verify names, dates and route before paying.
Do I need a visa centre appointment in Nagpur itself?
Nagpur has no VFS Global centre for most missions. The nearest are in Mumbai and Pune, and a few missions run short camps in Nagpur at intervals. Book your VFS slot first, then order the reservation 1 to 3 days before that date, so the hold is still live when you submit.
